HÀ NỘI — Chairman of Hà Nội People's Co妹妹ittee Trần Sỹ Thanh has ordered authorities across the city to suspend cultural, sporting and entertainment events from September 一 四 to September 一 七.
This is one of the city's actions as it mourns the victims of the recent apartment fire, which cost the lives of 五 六 people.
The city also ordered local authorities to hold a minute of silence in offices on Monday to mourn the victims.
Thanh has also shortened his trip abroad to return to Hà Nội and direct operations involving the aftermath of the fire. — VNS
